The pride of Kannada cinema direction KSL Swamee is brimming with happiness for the prestigious television serial on his favorite Sri Shankaracharya television serial. Swamee associated with GV Iyer in the production of ‘Adi Shankara’ that won laurels for its making in Sanskrit.

Now KSL Swamee is independently directing television serial ‘Sri Shankara Digvijaya-Tatsavami’. The television serial was launched at the most expected place Sri Shankara Math on Wednesday afternoon.

The mega television serial is produced by Sri Sharada Shankara Jyothy and presented by Sri BNV Subramanya.

Sri  Shankara Digvijaya-Tatsavami is with a perspective  that can appeal to  common man to connoisseur in all its simplicity covering the age group ranging  from   tens and teens to centurions with diligence, dignity and  decorum. Shankara’s view of world order – the ADVAITA order and the revered Vedanta philosophy are taken note. It is virtually and verbally impossible to explain all the vibrant intellectual propositions and culturally, politically, philosophically and humanely indelible achievements of  Sri Adi Shankaracharya  within a limited space.

Sri Shankara  Digvijaya-Tatvamasi  attempts to capture the turbulent state of affairs  in the period  of Shankara. Going by history, that age  witnessed the brilliant harmony of  man and momentum  and registered  itself as an era  in which emotion, aesthetics, intellect, commerce,  politics and philosophy, sex, treachery, perfidy and utmost truthfulness  were woven together  in an enviable order.

Even as providing space for opposite view points, the  ambitious  tele serial Sri Shankara Digvijaya- Tatvamasi   responds to the questions such as   who is  Shankara? What is Shankara? How and why he and his works are relevant even today?

The mega serial will be produced by Sri Sharada Shankara Jyothi production house and music will be scored by Pandit Pravven Godkhindi and  the acclaimed cinematographer Mr. G.S Bhaskar will capture the visuals. The serial will be edited by the renowned editor Mr. Suresh Urs and Mr. P.Krishna Murthy and Ramesh Chandra. Mr. Dayashankar M.A. of ISLO Talent Consulting (Pvt)  Ltd,. Has shouldered the marketing mobilization. The senior Journalist and writer Mr. K.N. Venkatasubba Rao has written the tele-play and dialogues. The production is designed by Mr. Ravi Subramanyaam.
